Phoenix Squadron appears in Scenario III and IVof the Alliance universe. When the new formed unit was asked to attack the world of Bentros, the Green Mountain kept safe the last Phoenix Squadron pilot, maintaining his starfighter docked during all the battle. Enemy ships were in number superiority, but the presence of Phoenix pilots allowed the Alliance to achieve an easy win, although only one A-wing remained at the end of the battle. But that mattered little when Darth Vader tracked the Lothal rebels to the larger fleet. When the reinforcements asked by the rebellion to rescue Lothal rebels arrived, Phoenix Squadron's A-wings led Alliance Imperial TIE/LN fighters against their Coalition counterparts. Phoenix Home, manufactured by Kuat Drive Yards, was heavily armored and featured turbolasers and point-defence laser cannons.

Only one of three A-wings was destroyed, while the other ones took part in the consequent battle together with the Green Mountain, the corvette that had carried them to Agrais. In this occasion, Phoenix helped the Ghost in destroying a Coalition Imperial Star Destroyer's systems and its fighters squadrons. They often sided the Ghost and its crew in many missions, like the one to Agrais.

Phoenix Squadron was a starfighter squadron formed by RZ-1 A-wing starfighters that was in service in the Alliance rebellion.
